At lunch today, Nils mentioned some new domains he is working on.

1. Controlling elevators.  Unexpected events like the person who
summoned the elevator not being there are to be provided for.  Also
dispatcher policies related, e.g. a lot of traffic for a conference
on the 16th floor.

2. Refueling robot on Mars that makes appointments with other
robots to refuel them.

3. We also discussed travel and delivery.
He is doing a programming language based on productions at Rockwell
for this.
It looks like neither Nilsson nor Feigenbaum will be funded by DARPA.
Schwartz seems to like Matt Ginsberg.

The elevator domain looks like a good one beyond the blocks world.
Travel and delivery may be even better.
